With over 15 years of leadership experience in commercial rentals and fleet operations, Marcus
Lindsey is a powerhouse in the world of truck and utility vehicle solutions. As Branch Manager
for United Rentals’ Commercial Truck & Utility division in the Washington, D.C. Metro area,
Marcus partners closely with Jeff “J2” Johnson to ensure customers across the Mid-Atlantic
have fast, reliable access to the trucks and fleet assets their jobs demand.
Marcus brings a rare combination of field experience, business development acumen, and
strategic fleet planning to the table. Prior to rejoining United Rentals in 2024, he spent nearly a
decade leading remote commercial rental operations across the Gulf South and Greater
Houston markets, managing growth, profitability, and customer service at scale. His earlier
roles as a multi-branch manager within United Rentals gave him a deep understanding of
operational execution and regional logistics.
Now, in his current role, Marcus supports J2 and the broader J Squared network by ensuring
the availability and readiness of stake beds, pickups, service trucks, and other key fleet assets.
Whether it’s for emergency response, scheduled delivery coordination, or new project
mobilization, Marcus ensures that vehicle-based solutions are where they need to be—on time,
on budget, and ready to perform.
